Welcome!

Dr. Anita Hickey grew up in Toronto and completed her medical degree at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, before pursuing psychiatry residency training at Dalhousie University in 2010. Following residency, she worked at the IWK Health Sciences Centre with a focus on both perinatal psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry. She has a strong interest in attachment theory and is trained as a facilitator in both the Circle of Security program and Interpersonal Therapy groups. Outside of her clinical work, Dr. Hickey enjoys spending time outdoors, training her dog Haiku, and creating custom puzzles and diamond art!
